The Hawk

Although it had claws and talons sharp
The hawk lived only to play the harp
It was a gentle bird that did not hunt
Instead, it liked to perform daring stunts
Like flying backwards and tumbling in the air
He inherited an underground lair
Most birds don’t like those kinds of homes
But the hawk just took material and built a dome
And lived content with lots of butter
Until he grew so fat he couldn’t even putter.

This is one of my poems. I hope you like it.
